1 month before your visa expires, please contact your program with your passport and educational evidence, to request a letter for an extension of stay. This process usually takes for a week.

STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENTS in Thailand
When you apply Student Visa (Non-Immigrant Visa Category "ED") in Thailand, the following documents are required to support your application.
If you apply for a one-year visa, your passport should be valid for at least 18 months.
A completed and signed Thailand Student Visa application form which can be downloaded from the website of the Embassy or Consulate or get it there if you apply in person.
A letter of Admission from KMITL.
Passport-sized pictures of yourself, with the following specifications:
Dimensions : 4cm x 6cm
White background
Taken within the last 6 months
Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the duration of your stay 20,000 Thai Baht minimum.
Police clearance certificate issued by authorities in your country, which proves you do not have a criminal background.
Payment of the Thai Student Visa fee.
