This is an immersive event where prospective students visit the school to explore various engineering majors and learn about the academic and career paths available within engineering. This is designed to give high schoolers a taste of college life and the engineering field, the camp includes a series of interactive sessions, tours, and presentations. Faculty members and current students offer insights into each major, explaining the unique aspects, potential projects, and career opportunities associated with each field. These sessions often include practical demonstrations or lab visits where students can see equipment in action, helping them understand the real-world applications of each discipline.
The discussion was all about master’s and doctoral scholarships, plus building research collaboration between our universities. Special focus was given to working together with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Robotics and AI. After the meeting, the delegates continued with a special session to promote scholarships for Master’s and Ph.D. degrees to our students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Robotics and AI .
It is hosted by KMITL in August 2025, the Asia Innovation Bridge Camp 2025 has officially begun at KMITL Prince Chumphon Campus! Camp brings together students and lecturers from Fukuoka Institute of Technology (FIT), Japan, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan, and KMITL, Thailand. After the opening and icebreaking session, all students were mixed and divided into 3 groups to learn about Design Thinking. In the afternoon, they applied what they learned by going out to real communities to observe and understand local problems. They visited a Durian Farm, a Crab Bank Farm, and a Riverside Homestay, where they carried out a sense & sensibility study and interviewed local people to learn more about their needs.

We have collaborated with the Software Engineering Program, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the University of Queensland, Australia, to organize the International AI Hackathon competition for 3rd and 4th-year computer science students in international programs of universities nationwide in Thailand. Therefore, students can learn and apply artificial intelligence, inspired by and responsible for the environment to create a better world, under the concept of "Saving the World Al."
