The Global Engineer Talent Program (GET Program) is an exclusive "Special Admission Track" designed to recruit high-potential international students with exceptional academic records to the Faculty of Engineering at KMITL. This strategic initiative focuses on building a diverse, world-class innovation hub by identifying students who rank in the Top 20% of their class. Through a streamlined nomination process from partner schools, the program fosters a multicultural learning environment while offering participants exclusive benefits, such as application fee waivers and early result announcements.
Challenge While international enrollment continues to rise, there is a strategic need to enhance nationality diversity. A truly global environment requires a wide range of cultural viewpoints to effectively develop innovators capable of solving complex, global challenges.
Goal To establish KMITL as a premier Global Center of Engineering Education by fostering a diverse, multicultural learning environment that broadens student perspectives and drives innovation.
Strategy Build a robust international student network that mirrors the global labor market. By facilitating early professional networking among diverse peers, we enhance the global competitiveness of our graduates and ensure they are prepared for the international workforce.
To maintain quality and diversity, our selection process follows these guidelines:
Nationality Management: We typically admit 2-5 students per nationality annually to ensure a balanced cultural mix.
Dynamic Quotas: Admission numbers are flexible based on current enrollment. We prioritize underrepresented nationalities to maximize diversity on campus.
School Nominations: Each partner school may nominate up to 10 students.
