Visa Fee

The annual fee for NON-IMM (ED Visa) for student studying in Thailand's Public Institution is 1,900 THB. In addition to the fee, you will have to use around 300~500 THB for documents and transportation.

Uniform

The price of the uniform may vary depending on the quantity you wish to purchase. For the female uniform, which includes a white shirt, skirt, belt, collar pin, brooch, and buckle, the cost is approximately 500 THB per full set. For the male uniform, which consists of a white shirt, black pants, necktie, belt, and buckle, the cost ranges from 350 to 500 THB per full set. Uniforms can be purchased either directly from the university or at shops located near KMITL.

Meal cost, Groceries, Toiletries

Daily meal costs at KMITL typically range from 150 to 250 THB. You can enjoy meals at the campus cafeteria, 7-ELEVEN, the Suvarnabhumi Flea Market, or nearby restaurants. For groceries and toiletries, expect to spend around 300 to 500 THB, depending on where you shop. You can order items online through platforms like Lazada, Shopee, Watsons, or Konvy or visit shopping malls such as Makro, Home Pro, Lotus's, or Tops.

Transportation to Campus

You can easily reach KMITL using various transportation options:

Motorbike Taxi: Costs around 20–80 THB, depending on the distance from your location to KMITL.
SRT Train: Costs 10 THB per station.
ARL (Airport Rail Link): Costs 15 THB per station.
Taxi: You can book a taxi via Bolt or Grab, or take a regular meter taxi.
Van Bus and EV Bus: Both run routes along the way to KMITL. 8~10 THB and 20~40 THB for Van Bus & EV Bus respectively.

Each option offers flexibility depending on your location and preference.

Internet Bills (Sim Card, Wi-Fi)

For sim cards (prepaid and post-paid), you can choose from a wide range of operators and a variety of packages you prefer. The sim card price range will start from approximately 300~500 THB. For the internet packages, you can choose the types you want to purchase which includes daily, monthly and annually. Wi-Fi fees will vary depending on the operators, Mbps and GB you choose.

Study Materials

If you are willing to purchase iPad for studies, it ranges from 15,000-50,000 THB, depending on the model you purchase. In terms of laptops, it can vary a lot depending on the brand and details you desire to buy. It can cost around 30,000~70,000 THB. For other materials, it can vary so don't forget to check with your department.

Sports

If you are an athletic person, you can also grab sport facilities on campus. KMITL has provided badminton court, volleyball, football, basketball and tennis court, swimming pool and fitness center. The fitness center and swimming pool costs 20~30 THB per time. For badminton and tennis court, it is free of charge for KMITL students.
