Purpose
The overall purpose of the Digital System Fundamentals labs for Software Engineering is to provide hands-on experience with the foundational concepts of digital systems, enabling students to design, analyze, and implement both combinational and sequential circuits. These labs bridge the gap between theory and practical application by introducing essential topics such as logic gates, number systems, memory systems, finite state machines, and hardware description languages. Through simulation tools, hardware programming, and project-based learning, students gain the skills to create efficient digital solutions, preparing them for advanced topics in hardware-software integration, embedded systems, and real-world problem-solving in the field of software engineering.
