Location - ECC-708
Opening Hours - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Purpose
Computer Lab 708 is designed for Software Engineering students, providing a dedicated space to explore and enhance their skills in specialized subjects. In their 2nd year, students utilize this lab for courses such as Computer Networks and Computer Architecture and Design, which require a deeper understanding of systems, hardware components, and network configurations. Main programming languages used by the students are Assembly, Rust, and C.
Lab Materials
The lab is equipped with high-performance desktop computers that feature modern CPUs capable of managing tasks related to network simulations, hardware design tools, and system analysis. Each workstation includes high-resolution monitors for better clarity, ergonomic keyboards and mice for comfort during extended sessions, and a variety of software tools and simulators tailored for network configurations and architecture design. The systems are consistently maintained to ensure smooth operation, and the lab provides a stable network infrastructure to support practical assignments and collaborative projects.
