On 23 December 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) participated in the academic collaboration signing ceremony with Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, together with five key education and research partners: MUT, KMITL, KMUTT, KMUTNB, and NSTDA.
This collaboration aims to jointly advance education management, research, and workforce development in the electronics and microelectronics industry, ensuring alignment with both current and future industrial demands—particularly in IC Design and semiconductor technologies.
Through this partnership, KMITL engineering students will gain direct learning experiences from industry experts in microelectronics, enhancing both technical expertise and professional skills, and equipping them with the confidence to transition seamlessly into real-world careers after graduation.
This collaboration between KMITL Engineering and Stars Microelectronics highlights the role of KMITL Engineering as a key driver in developing high-quality human capital and strengthening Thailand’s competitiveness in advanced technology industries in a sustainable way.
