To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the East Asia Summit (EAS), the ASEAN Foundation, in collaboration with the Missions of Australia, China, and Japan to ASEAN, is launching a special edition of its flagship diplomacy simulation programme: the ASEAN Foundation Model ASEAN Meeting – East Asia Summit 2025 (AFMAM EAS 2025).
This immersive youth diplomacy event will bring together 60 exceptional university students from across EAS participating countries to simulate high-level ASEAN and EAS meetings. Participants will engage in negotiations, draft policy proposals, and shape an Outcome Document reflecting youth perspectives on pressing regional challenges.

Applicants must:
Be aged 18–26 years
Be currently enrolled in a diploma or undergraduate program
Be a citizen of any EAS country: ASEAN Member States, Timor-Leste, Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Russia, or the United States
Be proficient in English
