Importance of wood performance, protection, and longevity in the presence of climate change

A full day training school on September 14th 2026 (one day before the WSE 2026 conference) is intended for students and early career researchers. The training school is organised in collaboration between Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry, Norwegian Institute of Wood Technology, Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research, and Latvian State Forest Research Institute "Silava".  It will cover the latest wood and forestry insights for climate change adaptation and mitigation.

The training school is free of charge for WSE 2026 participants, however the availability is limited and priority is for PhD students.
