    • Yes, all courses prepare students for college.

  • When can students take Advanced classes?

    • Honors classes are available 9-10; AP available 11-12

  • What do Freshmen read?

    • Romeo & Juliet, To Kill a Mockingbird, poetry

  • How many teachers are there in English?

    • 8, average of 2 per grade level

  • Are there required courses in ELA?

    • Must complete 4 credits of ELA to earn HS diploma

  • Can I get college credit?

    • Yes - English 100, AP Language & Composition, AP Literature & Composition

  • How much computer access is there?

    • All ELA teachers have computer labs in their rooms. All Kekaulike students have Google accounts and teachers utilize Google Classroom.
