Science in Action: Building and Using Rain Gauges
This month has been both fun and exciting in our science class! We've been diving into the fascinating world of rain gauges. It was thrilling to learn about the origins of the first rain gauge, discovering who invented it, the year it was created, and the country of its origin. The journey took us back in time and across the globe, enriching our understanding of this essential scientific tool.
The real fun began when the students took on the challenge of creating their own rain gauges. Each student designed and crafted their gauge, and we set them up outside in an open space to ensure accurate measurements. Throughout the week, we eagerly monitored and recorded the amount of rainfall. This hands-on experiment was not only enjoyable but also highly educational.
The students were able to apply what they learned in the classroom to a real-world scenario, enhancing their understanding of meteorological instruments and the importance of precise measurement in science. Watching their enthusiasm and curiosity grow as they engaged in this project was incredibly rewarding.

A Journey Through the Clock
Our expedition begun with a lively discussion about what time means to us. We explored how time surrounds us in our daily lives, from waking up in the morning to bedtime stories at night. Through interactive games and activities, we unraveled the concept of time in a way that's engaging and easy to understand for our young explorers. we explored the relationship between the hour and minute hands in different groups and it was so fun. Well done guys, thumps up for you all for engaging with such energy and enthusiasm in this lesson.
