The Selfish Ladybird! Reception DD & VG
This month, our Reception children dazzled a large audience with their talent and wonderful performance! They mastered their lines, songs, actions, and dances, delivering each with loud, clear voices. The children beautifully retold the story of a selfish ladybird with shiny spots who refused to share his secret. This led to him being all alone in a lovely garden filled with grasshoppers, beetles, butterflies, spiders, and other ladybirds. Fortunately, Woody the oak tree offered some wise advice, teaching him the value of sharing and friendship. We couldn’t be prouder of their outstanding performance! Way to go, Reception!

Art Jam- Budding Artists of Reception VG & DD
This month, we celebrated the artistic expressions from the young talents of Reception VG and DD, who put on a vibrant display of their art and crafts. It's always a joy to see the children's boundless enthusiasm for art and design classes, where they channel their learning into creative masterpieces. Our journey through this term's theme, 'Transports,' has led to the creation of a variety of 3D vehicles, like buses, hot air balloons, paper boats, and rockets. In conjunction with our literacy focus, the children brought the story of 'Mr. Gumpy's Outing' to life by crafting exquisite clay boats, painting them, and adding story characters to create the story setting. The same was reflected as they painted the story settings. The parents expressed admiration for the seasonal crafts and the children's self-portraits. The event shone a light on the innate artist present within every child, waiting to be unveiled with a bit of guidance and direction. We are immensely proud of all the students from Reception VG and DD for their outstanding creativity and dedication.
