Don't forget half term - Thursday 15th & Friday 16th February
In year 1, our budding scientists are exploring plants, with a special focus on seeds and bulbs. Here they are, involved in the hands-on experience of planting their very own bean seeds. Through careful observation and nurturing, these young scientists have witnessed the transformation of a simple seed into a thriving and healthy plant.

In our Topic lessons we have been exploring the lands and seas that make our planet so special. The wonderful lands are called continents! They're like giant puzzle pieces that fit together to make our Earth. The Oceans are like giant bathtubs, full of salty water and amazing creatures!
But how do we find our way around all these incredible places? That's where our trusty friends, the cardinal directions, come in! North, South, East and West showing the way that we should go.
With the seven continents, five oceans, and four cardinal directions as our guides, the world is our oyster! We can explore its incredible landscapes, meet fascinating creatures, and learn about different cultures.
