Don't forget half term - Thursday 15th & Friday 16th February
We're delighted to share the joy of Ambrosoli students' visit to KISU on 7th February. It was a day filled with exploration and friendship. Our Maker Space Lab and technology left them in awe, sparking their creativity. Engaging in scientific experiments, sports, and music creation, they discovered new passions and talents. Most importantly, they formed meaningful connections with our students, fostering a sense of unity. The day concluded with a healthy lunch, nourishing both body and soul. We extend our gratitude to Ambrosoli staff and students for sharing this enriching experience. Let's cherish the bonds we've formed and continue to inspire each other on this journey of learning. Ms Zoe.
It is so exciting to look back at KISU's Arts Festival at the end of last term - a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and imagination.
Over three immersive days, our KS3 students had the unique opportunity to dive into diverse art forms, guided by six renowned artists: Gasuza, a Hip Hop Music Producer; Twino, a Creative Dancer and Director; Fatima, a Graffiti Artist; Mugabe and Leon, two Animators; Arthur Kisenyi, a Professional Actor and Director; Mago Hasfa, a Children's Story-writer.
By the end of the three days, our students had: 1) written and recorded their very own music track on the topic of Peace (recording attached); 2) developed and filmed 5 short animation films; 3) choreographed and performed their very own dance routine; 4) written, illustrated and recorded their own stories; 5) written, directed and acted their very own play on power, devised by themselves; 6) designed, graffitied and painted a new wall mural that is up on the outdoor stage!
