We are of the firm opinion that the more enjoyable and engaging lessons are, the more learning and assimilation of the content takes place. The children loved wearing their masks, imitating the actions and sounds of animals, creating their role plays, and kept talking to each other about which animal they were pretending to be. In the end, everybody had a lovely time and they learnt a great deal through fun-based learning.

As we believe in diversity making children more open-minded as well as reinforcing feelings of empathy towards others, it was an amazing opportunity to celebrate Diwali together. The children looked so adorable in their outfits, and some of the parents attended the event, which created a sense of harmony and togetherness. Wholehearted thanks goes to all the families who were involved for their contributions.

Considering the fact that our topic was that of wild animals and team spirit, we took advantage of nature, expressive art, and - the icing on the proverbial cake - a bunch of lovely little learners. The children enjoyed walking around the school and collecting leaves, they painted a lion so beautifully, thus recalling the colour orange. They also used their marvellous imaginations while decorating. The wonderful results were: collaboration, teamwork and creativity in developing their lion story.

The KG3 children had a wonderful time on their school trip to the farm, enjoying a day full of fun and learning. They loved meeting all the farm animals, like cows, sheep, goats, and chickens, and were especially excited to feed them. The children also got to explore the vegetable garden and learn how different plants grow. One of the best parts of the day was the tractor ride around the fields, which gave them a chance to see the beautiful countryside and learn more about how a farm works. They also discovered how bees make honey and found it fascinating to see how this natural process happens. It was a fun, hands-on experience that taught them new things, helped them work together, and gave them lots of happy memories to share.

Reception DD at the Fire Station! This month, the children had an incredible experience visiting Fire Magnate Station as part of our unit on community helpers who make our world safer and better. With a keen interest in firefighters, we set off to explore! The children had the chance to tour the station, watch firefighters in action as they put out a live fire, ride in a fire engine, and learn about paramedics as they explored the inside of an ambulance. This hands-on adventure expanded our knowledge of the world, enriched our vocabulary, and brought learning to life through real-world experiences. Reception is officially fire trained!
