Hockey For Heart 2022

Faculty vs. Students battling for the title of Hockey For Heart 2022 Champions!

Hockey For Heart, though, has a bigger purpose. The money raised goes to the American Heart Association (AHA) a national, non-profit, voluntary health agency. The donations we make helps the AHA to fund their research and give people in high-risk situations better lives.

Mrs. Valenti started Hockey For Heart about 15 years ago, but it began very differently. It was originally a jump rope competition. She decided to go a different route and make it a hockey tournament between 7th and 8th grade teams in which the ultimate winners face the teachers in a finale match that decides the 2022 champions.

This year there were five 7th grade teams and six 8th grade teams. Each grade's teams faced off until there were only two from each grade level left - The Blackout, the 7th grade champions, and Goal Diggers, the 8th grade champions. The Goal Diggers came out on top in their game. Finally the Goal Diggers faced off against the Faculty.
