Discuss, evaluate and plan student-initiated activities

Along with your group, you must start a project, then plan and develop it collaboratively. When you hit a roadblock, you must try to solve the problem using your abilities. 

During this initiative you may take on a leadership role in creating, planning, and implementing the project. All aspects of this initiative must be carried out by the students under the guidance of a supervisor. The project will be one that will have an impact on the community. 

• Choose an area of interest.

• Identify classmates who might share the same interest.

• Identify your goal.

• Start planning the project.

• Identify areas of difficulty and seek guidance from your supervisor on how to overcome it.

• Execute the project.

Questions to help guide your reflections:

• What was your project and goal?

• What were your roles?

• How did you plan for this?

• What problems arose and how did you fix them?

• Was your plan a success?

• Proof of the planning process of this initiative i.e. any documentation, charts, etc.

• Emails and messages sent to organise this initiative.

• Any photographs/videos/media of this initiative.
