Exceptional Education (Special Education) Services at KACPE are provided for students who have been identified and evaluated on the school level as having a disability that impacts their academics. Students who have been identified as having a disability, will receive services through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Services in an IEP can include (varies by disability):
Related Services(Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy)
Small Group Reading Intervention
Small Group Math Intervention
In class support for Reading and/or Math
Accommodations for testing environments and assignments(read aloud, small group, extended time)
