Jack Burke is my great-grandad. He was the local blacksmith in Kinvara. A blacksmith is a person that works to bend metals, make metals and he also put shoes on horses.

Jack lived in Cartron on the Gort Road. The forge was right by his house. Jack died of lung cancer because of the conditions in the forge. (The smoke of the fire)
