Zita Carvalhosa

Zita Carvalhosa is the founder and director of São Paulo International Short Film Festival, one of the main events dedicated to short films in South America. She is also the head of Associação Cultural Kinoforum, which manages the festival and also organizes audiovisual workshops for communities in São Paulo since 2002. Zita is also a producer and head of Cinematográfica Superfilmes, responsible for dozens of short and feature films since 1983.



Marcio Miranda Perez

Holding a BA in Film and Video from the University of São Paulo, Marcio Miranda Perez works as film programming coordinator at the São Paulo International Short Film Festival, where he is also in charge of the Latin American programs. 

He is also the film programming coordinator at Mix Brasil Festival and, as a short film director and film editor, his works have been screened and awarded in Brazil and abroad. 



Anne Fryszman

Anne Fryszman is in charge of the international programs at the Sao Paulo Short Film Festival. She organises  the Brazilian promotion at the Clermont-Ferrand film market. She also works as a translator, curator and consultant for other festivals and small exhibitions.



Denise Jancar

Denise Jancar, director of PROMOVERE, represents Brazilian contents for the foreign market and distributes international content in Brazil. She attends international markets as Jury and Mentor and coordinates Curta & Mercado, a meeting of professionals at Curta Kinoforum - Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival.



Luiza Calagian

Luiza Calagian is a director and cinematographer based in São Paulo, Brazil. She is currently enrolled in the Regular Cinematography Course at EICTV in Cuba, where she also completed a Master's in Creative Documentary. Since 2014, she has been working with the Guarani Mbya communities in her city, collaborating on various projects. Currently, she is directing and shooting her first feature film.

As a director and cinematographer, Luiza has had short films selected for festivals such as Rotterdam, Biarritz, Guadalajara, Hong Kong, and has received awards at Oberhausen and Ann Arbor and Kinoforum.


Lincoln Péricles - LKT

Lincoln Péricles, aka LKT, was born, lives, and works in the Capão Redondo neighborhood, on the outskirts of São Paulo. He is the son of indigenous people from the forests of interior Brazil.


In February 2020, his work was highlighted by Cahiers du Cinéma, which described his oeuvre as "A cinema distant from the imagery associated with favelas, inventing its own form, rough and necessarily imperfect, between intervention and visual archive of the neighborhood." 



Boni Zanatta

Boni Zanatta, 23, from São Paulo - Brazil, holds a degree in screenwriting and film direction for the short film "Non-Spontaneous Combustion," which serves as her thesis project and debut film. As a director and screenwriter, she employs cinema as a means to engage in discussions on Brazilian and Latin themes. Boni is also a monitor at the É Nois na Fita free school, an educational project offering free film courses for young individuals from São Paulo's periphery. In this role, she guides the creation of various short films. Previously, she worked as an illustrator and animator at TV Globo. Boni is one of the individuals positively impacted by the audience development initiatives of the Kinoforum Festival.


Renato Sircilli

Renato Sircilli (Brazil, 1989) is a director, editor, and screenwriter. His work explores queer themes and the phantasmagoria of everyday life, dealing with the invisible and the incommunicable. He has directed seven short films that have been screened and awarded at festivals like Havana, BAFICI, Frameline, Queer Lisboa, and many others. He is currently developing his first feature film based on the short film "The Cutest and Funniest Animals in the World," produced by Dezenove Som e Imagens.
