Matthew Rivaldi has been teaching at San Diego College of Continuing Education for about 10 years and enjoys passing on his business experience with students. Some of his accomplishments and experience include:
Since 2005, he and his wife have owned and operated a promotional product business, PromoDeli.com, providing printed promotional materials such as hats, shirts, pens, magnets and more. Clients have included: Red Cross of San Diego, Habitat for Humanity, Kroc Center, DePaul University, and more.
In 2004, he started a board game company, Wiggity Bang Games, LLC, with two friends from college. Not only president of the company, he also co-created games such as Alpha Bandits, FlapDoodle, Whizizzle Phonics, QUAO, FURT and Magic Feather board games, many of which he fully illustrated. The most successful board game Quelf sold over 1,000,000 units worldwide before being sold to another company.
Prior to the game gig, he started up a website venture HouseOfMagnets.com (now Markful.com), a successful division of Graphic Business Solutions.
Before that he worked in film production on some Hollywood feature films such as Dr. Dolittle, Mars Attacks, and Alien Resurrection.
He also has the papers to prove I know my way around a presentation and a balance sheet - earning an MBA (masters in business administration) from San Diego State University and a BA in Urban Planning from UC San Diego.
When he's not teaching, he loves to spend time with his wife, two amazing kids, and two dogs (Charlotte and Walter), create new business ventures, travel (especially Italy), and surfing.
