From the Sumatran Rhino and Amur Leopard to the Hainan Crested Gibbon and the Sunda Pangolin, there are many endangered animals that are at the brink of extinction. This means that human beings are at serious risk of losing these animals all together.
People who care put so much work into saving endangered animals, but why? “Extinction is a natural process that would happen with or without humans. But, while that is the case, research shows that extinctions are happening quicker now than ever before. And, loss of habitat is by far the biggest cause.” Other factors such as climate change and pollution affect species. What can people do to help? Donating to organizations such as The World Wildlife Fund will help preserve these species by taking action. Our group thanks you for your time and please check out the links below.

Buy Sustainable Products
Wood used in the products that you buy (such as furniture or paper) can come from forests that are in danger and are being destroyed. Many animals are endangered because of habitat destruction, so always be sure to check where the materials in your products are coming from!
Be Conscious of Where Your Food is Coming From
Whenever possible, avoid buying food that contributes to deforestation or habitat destruction. According to Standfortrees.org, "Beef production – more specifically, converting forests to cropland or pasture – is the world’s leading driver of deforestation[1] – and habitat destruction." By reducing or eliminating the amount of beef in your diet, you can make a big change to the environment and save endangered speices.
Avoid Disposable Plastic Products
As with climate change, disposable plastic products are one of the leading causes of animal endangerment. Even when disposed of properly, plastic products can escape landfills, go into the ocean - and threaten the lives of many kinds of sea creatures.
Avoid Using Harsh Chemicals
The World Animal Foundation says that "Toxic chemicals used in laundry, housecleaning, dish washing and personal care products end up in underground waters, poisoning aquatic life and any animals that feed on them." It's always better to choose non-toxic chemicals when possible!
Spread Awareness!
Though it may not seem like much, spreading awareness is one of the main things you can do to help any kind of issue. By informing more people of what is going on, they will all begin to make these small changes in their lifestyles and eventually, many of these endangered animals could have their populations restored.
