A Step Ahead
Animation empowers one to tell stories and communicate emotions and ideas in a unique, easy-to-perceive way. There was a point in everyone’s life when animation was just the coolest thing you’d ever seen. Whether it was a Disney movie as a kid or maybe a 3D game cutscene that blew you away, there was always something spectacular when imaginary characters moved and acted as in real life. So if you’re a storyteller, or want to be one, animation is a great place to start.
In the animation studio, we give hands-on exposure to our students on how to create 3D animations, which is acknowledged as an effective communication tool that is frequently utilised to create the appearance of movement. Students are provided with hands-on experience in modelling, textures, composition, asset design and character design.
Mobile Cover in TinkerCad
Keychain in TinkerCad
Students learnt about creation of 3D objects by diving into concepts like building blocks that are required for creating complex geometrical objects, orthographic and perspective use, scale objects the three coordinate planes, mirror images and different alignments. Students of Grade VIII created Iphone mobile case using a ruler tool in TinkerCad.
Students learnt to create 2D shapes. They also learnt how to group and ungroup objects and use whole object. Students of Grade VII created a model of keychain using geometrical shapes in TinkerCad software.
Floating Duck activity in Blender
Students explored the concepts of Coordinate system and basic modelling tools. Students of Grade IX manipulated components of an object to modify the shape creating a floating duck in Blender.
