PAC Hot Lunch Program
The PAC Lunch program is the main PAC fundraiser of the year. The program provides for all of our technology (MacBooks, iPads, storage/charging carts), and allows funds for teachers’ classroom supplies, sports equipment, musical instruments, science supplies and much more. A successful Hot Lunch program means we don’t have to do other forms of fundraising throughout the year and can instead focus on community-building events (School Picnic, holiday sales, etc.).
We offer Hot Lunch 5 days a week.
Ordering happens in September and January. To place a new order or change an existing order, please contact your online PAC Lunch coordinator.
Kerrisdale School PAC Lunch Winter 2023 ORDERING
We will be offering a Pizza (Domino's Pizza), Sushi, and Hot Dog menu.
FUEL menu will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday. Subway Menu will be offered on Mondays.
There are 3 ordering sessions this year:
1. September to December
2. January to March
3. April to June

If you did not get hot lunch last year or you are new to the school, please refer to the following instructions below on how to register with Munchalunch to order hot lunch for your child.

IF YOU PREVIOUSLY ORDERED:
1. You just need to login with your email address and password at MunchLogin.com
2. You will then be prompted to enter your children’s new teacher/division then place order

LESS WASTE
We are following the VSB’s Zero Waste Initiative by trying to reduce the amount of one-time-use cutlery and packaging in our landfills. Cutlery is not provided. Please pack reusable Cutlery for your children. Our lunches are packed separately with compostable packaging with name and meal labels. We encourage the students to bring the leftover lunch home instead of throwing the food away.
HOT LUNCH SUBSIDY
If your family needs financial support, please contact Principal/Vice principal, or send email to hotlunchkerrisdale@gmail.com. It is our aim that all families can access PAC Lunch. Your child's lunch will arrive to class as all others do, and your communications with the principals and hot lunch coordinator will be kept confidential.
IMPORTANT:
Please make sure you complete the payment after placing the order. An unpaid order over 9 days will be cancelled automatically, and your child will not get the lunch.
Consistent with previous years, there are NO REFUNDS for absences or field-trips as this is a Kerrisdale PAC fundraiser. If your child will be absent, you may pick up their lunch at the kitchen before 12:00pm. If your child has a field trip on a lunch day, the lunches will be kept in the fridge if your child wants to pick up upon their return to school.***
FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Kerrisdale PAC Lunch items are prepared in kitchens where cross contamination with food allergens is possible. After meals are delivered, cross contamination may also occur. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any food item on the following menus will be completely free of food allergens. Parents and guardians concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk.
Kerrisdale PAC Lunch Program will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed or items one may come in contact with while eating any food from the Kerrisdale PAC Lunch program.
VOLUNTEER AND DONATIONS
A successful program could not be possible without the support of reliable volunteers. If you would like to devote your time to our lunch program ( Each day we only need 1-2 volunteers working from 11:15-12:15 working in Main school), please sign up for volunteer shifts after placing the order or send email to hotlunchkerrisdale@gmail.com.
We have launched the PAC Hot Lunch subsidy campaign for Kerrisdale students who need financial support, to achieve an important goal: to ensure that no child is hungry, and every child eats healthy.
