EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee (“Executive”) manages the PAC’s affairs between general meetings. The Executive is composed of the following roles: Chair/Co-chairs/Past Chairs, Treasurer, Secretary, Co-Program and Events Liaisons, DPAC Rep and Members-at-Large. Executive members meet monthly as a group and more frequently in optional subcommittee groups, such as the committees for Traffic Safety, Communications and Staff Appreciation.
PAC EXECUTIVE [MANDATORY] ROLES
The below roles are often referred to as office bearers or key positions that form the necessary structure for the committee to operate and make decisions. These roles are required for legal compliance.
CHAIR: Primary leader and official spokesperson, responsible for presiding over meetings, setting agendas, and maintaining regular communication with school administration. They ensure the PAC meets its goals, facilitate democratic decision-making, and act as a key liaison between parents and the school. ← inquire now for fall 2026
SECRETARY: Primary record-keeper and communication hub, ensuring that meetings are documented, members are informed, and the organization's history is maintained. This executive role is crucial for providing structure and continuity, often acting as the "memory" of the organization. ← inquire now for fall 2026
TREASURER: The Treasurer acts as the custodian of all funds, responsible for managing financial records, budgeting, and ensuring transparent reporting to the executive and general membership. They are key signing officers who oversee cash flow, prepare regular financial reports, and maintain financial accountability. ← inquire now for fall 2026
PAC COMMITTEE ROLES

COPEL ANNEX: Co-Planning and Event Liaison. ← inquire now for fall 2026
The COPEL acts as a specialized coordinator within the PAC executive or volunteer structure to ensure smooth, inclusive events for students, staff, and families.
Event Planning*: Coordinating three major school events: the Winter Sale, the Lunar New Year Celebration, and the Staff & Volunteer Luncheon.
Liaison: Collaborating with the Main School and the Annex office to promote school activities and initiatives.
Support: Providing guidance to other volunteers and helping ensure school community engagement.

The COPEL acts as a specialized coordinator within the PAC executive or volunteer structure to ensure smooth, inclusive events for students, staff, and families.

– manage google workspace: KES PAC website, PAC calendar, supports with fillable forms for events/data collection + more
– manage social channels (currently IG + Facebook)
– manage mailchimp for e-mail communication (distributing newsletter, surveys, updates on hot lunch/after school programming etc)
– create and distribute monthly newsletter (including calendar at a glance, events + fundraisers for the month, DPAC updates, fundraising updates, and any other important news/happenings
– design/produce marketing collateral for events and fundraisers such as carival, spiritwear, etc (digital + print)
MEMBERS AT LARGE
Members at large assist where required (in previous and current year, have held specific roles (see below)...
HOT LUNCH COORDINATOR(S) ← inquire now for fall 2026
– Liase with hot lunch vendors re: ordering, offerings, updates on menus/pricing etc.
– organize and communicate with dedicated hot lunch volunteers*
Daily Hot Lunch Volunteers are always needed for distribution! Your committment can be intermittent or consistent/weekly (whatever your schedule allows). Volunteers simply receive, sort, and organize hot lunches - total time required is than 1 hour. Your help makes a huge impact on being able to offer the hot lunch program.
