Highland FFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. We pride ourselves in creating a culture of acceptance and family. We do this through providing experiences for students exploring careers, colleges and entrepreneurship opportunities.
To be a member of Highland FFA a student must be enrolled in a Highland Agriculture class. FFA participation is considered intracurricular as such is part of the students grade in every Agriculture class. To hold students accountable, students are asked to participate in 25 of the 250 hours of FFA activities a semester. Most activities happen before, during(lunch), and after school and consist of developing each student´s social, professional and academic goals.
Highland FFA prides itself in working closely with our community . We strive to have students activity involved in community service. Students Help out with community clean ups, tree plantings, and helping at local food pantries.
