Professional Learning Modules

Math Framework Foundations Modules are a series of nine modules aligned with the 2023 California Mathematics Framework (CMF). Through collaborative learning, reflection, and application, participants strengthen their capacity as instructional leaders. 

Regional Improvement Communities (RICs)

RICs aim to support Framework implementation and high-quality mathematics instruction by drawing on the research behind networked improvement communities to facilitate cycles of inquiry (such as PDSA cycles) and implement common measures to ascertain progress. RICs provide space for educators to share strategies and problem solve implementation. 

Collaborations

MPLP connects to other initiatives as a statewide system of support, namely Rural Math Collaborative (RMC), Count Play Explore (CPE), and the California Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science Partnership (CAL-MSCS). 

Survey Results

WestEd, a nonpartisan education research agency, in partnership with Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS), collected survey data to guide the Mathematics Professional Learning Partnership Grant (MPLP) work. The dashboard provides summarized responses on the main items of the survey.
