Masquerade Concert

Wednesday, October 28, 2026   |   7:00 pm.

Concert: 7:00 PM at East Kentwood High School Auditorium

Student Arrival: 6:00-6:30 pm

Concert Dress: Students may dress in costumes for this concert, or they may wear all black. Costumes should not include masks, must not restrict performance, and should adhere to all school guidelines.

Cello and Bass Drop Off – Student instruments should be dropped off the morning of the concert. Student's instruments may be dropped off at Door A at the main desk.  The high school students will transport them to the orchestra room.  Drop off time are from 6:30 – 11:00 AM. If you are unable to get your instrument dropped off during this time, please let the teacher know. These instruments will go home with student after the concert.

Pinewood Middle School rehearsal schedule during the school day:

----------8 th Grade ----------

• 9:00 AM – 8th Grade Students are dismissed to the orchestra room. Attendance is taken and students will walk to East Kentwood High School with Mr. Finley.

• 9:20 AM – 8th Grade will arrive at East Kentwood High School and find seats on the stage.

• 9:30 AM – 8th grade students will begin rehearsal.

• 10:50 AM – 8th grade students Pack-up/travel back to school. (Cello and Basses will stay at the high school)

• 11:15 – 8th Grade students will be back in class.

----------7th Grade----------

• 11:35 (A Lunch) – 7th Grade students will get lunch and eat in the orchestra room.

• 12:00 – 7th Grade students will travel to East Kentwood High School with Mr. Finley.

• 12:15 – 7th Grade students will arrive at East Kentwood High School and find seats on the stage.

• 12:25 – 7th Grade students begin rehearsal.

• 1:50 – 7th Grade students back up and travel back to school. (Cello and Basses will stay at the high school)

• 2:15 – 7th Grade students will be back in class.

Attendance for concerts is mandatory and curricular. Students will receive a grade for performing in this event. If you run into any emergencies, please le me know. We address emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Please let me know if you have any questions.
