HS Solo and Ensemble

District Solo and Ensemble Rules

Students must have an original score from the publisher.
Every measure  of the score must be numbered.
Public Domain scores are permitted with permission from the S&E Office.  Bring this form with you.
Performances must be a minimum of 2 minutes for solos-octet.
Chamber ensembles must be a minimum of 3 minutes.

Students may perform in up to two ensembles and one solo.

Solo registration cost is $15.00
Duet - Quintet registration cost is $10.00 per participant
Sextet-Chamber registration cost is $50.00 per ensemble

Students who score 1st division qualify to participate in State Solo and Ensemble.
Freshman do not need to do proficiency.
10-12th grade students complete proficiency in addition to solo/ensemble performances.
