Behavior is unique to each individual student and therefore, effective strategies will also be unique to each individual student. Strategies listed here are a starting point for brainstorming and identifying function-based interventions related to access to activities or tangibles however, the list is not exhaustive.

Behaviors can be maintained by multiple functions and all hypothesized functions should be considered in behavior intervention planning.
