Welcome to Second Grade at Bacich Elementary School!
Second grade is a year of community building, as well as building independence. Bringing strong foundations in reading and writing from first grade, second graders blossom as readers and writers, showing interest in chapter books and finding their voices as authors. In math, students develop strategies for problem-solving and flexibility in working with numbers. Our engaging science curriculum is a memorable part of second grade at Bacich. The social studies curriculum deepens our understanding of how our world has changed over time.
