How does the student login to their Chromebook?
A student's username is their first initial, last name, and the year they graduate followed by @student.kennett.k12.mo.us. An example is cpierce2026@student.kennett.k12.mo.us.
A student's password is their lunch id twice.
Where does the student find their assignments?
Announcements and Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.
Open Chrome Browser on the Chromebook
Visit classroom.google.com
All of the student's classes should appear in Google Classroom. If a class is missing, please contact your student's teacher. Students will have multiple classes and should check with their teacher to find out where announcements and assignments will be posted. Students will also receive an email each time an announcement or assignment is posted to Google Classroom.
As a parent, how can I ensure my student is completing their work?
Parents may create a PowerSchool account to check on their student's grades, attendance, etc. PowerSchool Public Portal

Parents may also provide their email to their child's teacher and be added to receive summaries from Google Classroom. This will notify the parent as to what assignments the student has and has not completed.
