After you link your class to the SIS, you can export grades. You can only export returned grades. Draft grades don’t export to your SIS.
To submit past due assignments, manually mark them as "Missing" or "Complete."
Tip: To export grades successfully, classwork needs a due date in the current SIS grading period. To change a due date, go to Edit an assignment.
Go to classroom.google.com.
Click the class Grades.
On the right, click SIS export.
Grades export for any classwork with a checked box. For any grades you don't want to export, uncheck the box. Classwork you don't export this time shows under Previously excluded on your next export.
Tip: Under Grade updates, you see the number of returned grades since your last export.
Click SIS export.
If any grades fail to export, check the export status, or go to Troubleshoot SIS grade export.
Check export status
Unlink a class
Tips:
Grade categories carry over differently for each SIS. If you export grades to:
PowerSchool SIS:
Grade categories must be attached to an assignment in order to be exported successfully. Make sure the grade category titles match in Classroom and PowerSchool SIS.

Have you ever wanted all of your students to visit a webpage and had to take lots of time trying to get them all on the same website? Use your GoGuardian sessions to open tabs for all of your students. They don't have to do anything!!!!!
🕵🏻♀️ Open GoGuardian and Open the Session that is running
🕵🏻♀️ Select one student, several students, or all students by checking the box next to their name
🕵🏻♀️ You will see a blue bar appear at the bottom of your screen with several options
🕵🏻♀️ Click Open New Tab
🕵🏻♀️ Type the URL for the website
🕵🏻♀️ Click Open Tab
🕵🏻♀️ Wait for the tab to open on your students' Chromebook.
It really is that quick and easy!!!!!
See images below:
Use the Windows Snipping Tool to "cut out" any information on your screen that you would like to copy and paste somewhere else. You can even mark on it before you paste it.
Hold down Shift + Windows Key + S
The screen will turn gray when it's ready for you to Snip.
Draw a box around the part you want to snip.
A notification will appear in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. If you wish to mark it, click the box. If no markings are needed, just let the box disappear.
Go to where you want to paste the image and click control + v or right-click and paste.
If you made any markings, close the window after you make the marks and paste the image where you want it.

Most of the background was created in "Edit Theme" mode. To make changes to the template, click Slide >> Edit Theme. Click the appropriate slide to make the changes. The changes will reflect within the presentation for that slide. If you need to change a link, those were create on the actual pages, not in "Edit Theme" mode.
**If your grade-level team has an idea of how to use this and needs changes made, please email lpierce@kennett.k12.mo.us. I'd be happy to help and make a few changes.
When I was in the classroom, my two favorite things about using Google Classroom were:
1️⃣ Students didn't have to ask me what we did in class that day (or what we were going to do). I posted everything in Google Classroom. 🌟BONUS...I could post it days in advance and schedule it to post on a certain day.
2️⃣ I didn't have to keep up with tons of papers. It was all online, and I could access it from anywhere!
Below are some Google Classroom tips:
Using emojis for assignments will make it easier for students to know what kind of assignment it is, what subject, etc.
Use 📝 for pencil/paper assignments but you want to include it in Google Classroom so students who are absent will know what you did in class.
Use 💻 for a computer/online assignment.
Use 📕 for a reading assignment, 🌎 for a Social Studies assignment, 🔬 for a Science assignment, and ➗ for a Math assignment.
Use a different color for each day of the week...🟩Monday, 🟪Tuesday, 🟨Wednesday, 🟦Thursday, 🟧Friday
Designate a symbol, such as a 📥(inbox tray) or ⏳ (hourglass) to let students know that an assignment needs to be turned in by a certain date/time.
Reuse Assignments:
No need to reinvent the wheel. Use your assignments from last year!!!!🎉
Click Classwork tab >> Click Create >> Click Reuse Post >> Select the Classroom >> Select the Assignment Post >> **Might need to check the box to create new copies of all attachments** >> Click Reuse >> You may edit anything at this point >> Be sure to check your settings on the right >> Post or schedule post
Google Classroom Add-ons:
When you create new assignments in Google Classroom, be sure to checkout the link to Add-ons. These are new to Google Classroom and include add-ons for Kahoot, EdPuzzle, and more!
