A guide to using Little SIS to manage google classroom at an administrative level.
In this session, you will learn the foundations of special education from the referral process to legal responsibilities held by teachers for students with IEP’s and 504 plans.
We will look into the effects of trauma-informed care on the brain and education.
I will walk educators through the process of making an assessment/assignment and answer questions.
I will go over how to grade Google Slides and Docs easily and efficiently. I will show how to grade different question types on Google Forms and how to build an assessment in Google Forms. I will also show teachers how they can use Grade Transferer to easily enter grades from Google Classroom into PowerSchool.
Comparison/Contrast the various music history periods as the compare to the development of a donut.
Teachers will look at BrainPop and create a BrainPop lesson.
Learn more about the Reading Horizons program. A review of how to teach a lesson and a review of some games that go along with teaching it will be covered.

Teachers will be able to effectively use the advanced features of GoGuardian in their classes: Present to Class, communicate with multiple and individual students, take screenshots and share with admin, and create Scenes.

Teachers will learn the difference between accommodations and modifications and how they should be implemented within the general education classroom for students with IEP's. You will also learn different ways to modify assignments and tests.
Educators will set up a teacher and student account on DeltaMath. We will discuss the tools, create/edit, and student data menus.
Educators will learn about the importance of explicit phonemic awareness instruction, the difference between phonics and phonemic awareness, and the importance of phonemic awareness in learning to read. Those who attend will learn how to build their students' phonemic awareness skills with a daily fun, quick-paced lesson.

Teachers will learn the basics of using the new SmartPanels they will be using in their classroom.
Participants will learn different ways to use Google Sites (webpage) in their classroom and/or for a school organization. The best way to learn something is to practice it, explore it, and do it. Not only will we view samples, participants will have time to create a Google Site.
We will present ideas for stations at the Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade levels. This will also include small group instructional ideas and sample ideas for independent stations. There will a question and answer time at the end.
We will discuss the STEM programs we are implementing in Masterson, South, and Middle School. We will also have visitors participate in a few STEM activities that they can take back to their classrooms.
