Introduction

Hi there! I'm Amy Hawks and I'm super excited to be teaching Theatre at ELC-N! This is my seventh year in the classroom and my second year in Keller ISD. Theatre is all about using our bodies, voices, and imaginations! We will do some singing, some dancing, and lots of pretending!

Our units will include learning about the tools of an actor, how theatre is a form of storytelling, the role of the audience, how we convey emotions, and the role of technical theatre. This first six weeks we are learning classroom procedures and talking about how acting is pretending.
