Hello, and welcome to the ELC North Library! My name is Mrs. Caroline, and I am honored to be a part of your child’s first school experience. This is my 13th year in education overall, and I have been a part of the ELC since we opened in 2010. In the library, we strive to create a positive learning environment so that our bear cubs develop a life-long love of literacy and learning. All students will come to the library for a total of 55 minutes each week. Every library lesson will have both a story time and related makerspace component to it. Students will begin checking books out and bringing them to the classroom in October. Students will begin checking out books to bring home in January.
You can use this website to discover all of the digital resources our library has to offer. Parents are also welcome to check out books from our library at any time by either emailing me or following the process below.
Keller ISD offers many wonderful resources for you and your child. Most of them are housed in a single website called KCloud. Once you sign in, you should not have to sign in again to access any of the apps. To sign in to KCloud, go to kcloud.kellerisd.net and sign in with the following credentials:
username: student id number
password: keller
If you do not know your child's student id number, you can email Mrs. Caroline or your child's teacher.
To find digital resources specific to pre-k, check out the document below. You will need to login to KCloud before it will show on your computer.
Parents are always welcome to check out books for their children. The library catalog can be accessed through KCloud. Directions on how to look at the catalog and place a book on hold are in the video below. If your child is a remote learner, you can come pick up your library book during your teacher's scheduled pick up time. If your child comes to school in person, the book will come home in your child's backpack.
Some remote library lessons are available during the 2021-2022 school year. Feel free to do as much or as little of these as you like with your child. All resources and videos can be found below. You may need to login to KCloud before you are able to view the videos.
