Your child will be in Family and Consumer Science class every other day. I expect that during class time your child will show respect and effort. Most of what we do is focused on project based learning. This is a teaching method where students gain knowledge and skills by working for a period of time in order to investigate and respond to a complex question, problem, or challenge. Projects will receive a final grade, however each assignment that is passed in through-out the process will also receive a grade. Some assignments may be weighted more or less than other assignments. Grades will be updates in Powerschool.
