To prepare our students for future challenges in math, we will be using a program that includes an active approach to learning problem solving skills. This style is student centered. It leads students to discovery of mathematical ideas and concepts. It also focuses on communication of these ideas and applications of what they learn. We will focus on real life situations to help students appreciate mathematics in their everyday lives.
Homework: See Homework Policy Page
Grading: Students will be graded as follows:
Classwork- Practice and application of skills and concepts learned. Not graded but an essential step in the mastery process.

Any test can be made up, it will require the student to demonstrate knowledge of the material and to re-take it.
