主題探索~大夢想家Let's Pretend
【Show and Tell】
在主題初開展之時,我們先延續上個主題的討論,請孩子們跟爸爸媽媽一同完成「大夢想家」學習單,嘗試瞭解爸爸媽媽的職業、上班地點、所需物品及工作內容,並與同學們分享。透過這個方式,孩子們練習如何面對眾人說話、培養穩健的台風,同時也必須言之有物,嘗試清楚地描述人、事、時、地、物。
【Character / Setting / Plot】
第二階段,我們延續「人、事、時、地、物」的概念,藉由經典童話《小紅帽》來探討何謂角色、場景與劇情,並嘗試剖析每個角色的特徵、情緒,嘗試用聲音的變化乃至肢體語言將故事劇情演出來。除此之外,我們也請孩子發揮觀察力、想像力,一同分析了不同場景所需具備的元素,為下一階段的活動做預備。
【Ocean Class Storytime】
經過一系列的探索與討論,我們感受到孩子們對「紙偶」相當有興趣,於是最後決定要設計紙偶一起來演戲,但角色呢?場景呢?故事劇情呢?該由誰來決定?首先,孩子們花了幾堂課的時間,嘗試繪製許多自己喜歡的角色;場景的部分,同樣全權交給孩子們來提供意見,蒐集了大約十多個選項後,便舉辦一場公平、公正、公開的投票活動,讓孩子們能夠為自己的喜好投下神聖的一票。接下來,全班合力為三個場景設計各式各樣的配件與元素,以作為後續布置的基本素材。
在場景配件製作告一個段落後,孩子們自由選擇要加入哪個組別,Birthday Party Team、Ocean Team與Forest Team隨之誕生,各小組開始如火如荼地妝點自己的場景,我們僅提醒:「記得在黏貼前要徵詢組員們的意見,因為這是你們共同的作品。」當手邊的素材使用完畢,每個小組則坐下來一起討論第二階段要補充哪些配件。此時,就會觀察到不同組別的討論有著不同的火花,像是Birthday Party組隨即就能掌握重點、聚焦討論,旁邊Forest組則深陷各有主見,卻無法取得共識的局面。教室另一角的Ocean 組彩繪了許多繽紛美麗的珊瑚、海葵,同時卻也意外沉浸在畫輪船、帆船的世界裡,最後成品的上方塞滿大大小小、各種造型的船隻,也是相當可愛。
主題統整活動當日,孩子們隨機上場,拿著自己親手繪製的紙偶,隨著劇情輪盤的轉動,共同編出許多天馬行空的情節與故事。
省思與期許
在這段主題學習的旅程中,我們看見孩子們的創造力和表達能力的成長,從分享故事到角色扮演,再到團體創作,展現了對學習的熱情與勇於挑戰的態度,最令我們感動的則是大家能夠坐下來,平心靜氣地為共同的創作而討論,勇敢說出自己的意見、耐心聆聽別人的想法,並嘗試溝通與協調,雖然過程中偶有爭執、意見不合,但每位孩子都付出了很大的努力,也萬分用心地對待作品的每一個細節,我們才得以一同完成這些美麗的故事。期待這樣的學習經驗能啟發孩子們對語言與藝術的熱愛,並在未來的探索旅程中繼續發光發熱。
