Networking is the process of connecting two or more computers in order to share common resources.
A Server provides the shared resources for other computers (clients).
A computer which is used to access the shared resources is called a client.
Any computer on a network is called a host or node.

a hub
Receives data from a connected device and forwards it to all other connected devices
a switch
receives data from a connected device and then sends it to the particular recipient. It has memory storage.
a router
Routers allow clients to access the internet.
Network Topology
A network topology refers to the layout or arrangement of the computers in a network.
