Location
The first decision you will need to make is where to locate your village. Do you want to locate it on flat grasslands, ideal for farming and gathering food, but virtually undefended from those who would harm your village? Should you locate it in the mountains, isolated and safe? Perhaps you will choose the lumber-rich forest or along the transport-aiding river?
Grasslands: Great for farming and building, hardest to defend.

Image SourceWith your group, discuss where would be the best place to locate your village. It does not have to be the same idea you had earlier in the project before you had the information above. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages to each person’s preference and decide following the system you decided would be best for situating your village.
