You have reached a point where a tough decision needs to be made and everyone needs to live with it. How do you do that? Yelling the loudest seems a bit childish and flipping a coin seems a bit random. What you need is a decision-making model with rules and procedures. You need a government.

You have only experienced one form, so that is probably your natural inclination. Representative democracy is not your only option though. Before you decide, you examine some options. Do some research and find 10 forms of government that you could use in your village. Write a brief explanation of how they work (2 sentences are enough).
