Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Level 3
You will learn how to prepare financial statements for Sole Traders and Partnerships, the importance of management accounting information, and how to prepare VAT returns.
Finance Data Technician Apprenticeship Level 3 (if the job role is suitable)
Data is at the heart of accounting, and therefore data analysis can help accountants deliver more value to businesses. Accounting involves data from various sources and sometimes there aren’t dedicated resources to support working on the data, ready to be used by the accounting team.

Accounts Administrator responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. To be successful in this role, you should have a Finance or Accounting background and be familiar with bookkeeping.
They process purchase orders, invoices and expenses, assist with cash management and bank reconciliation as part of the finance team. Accuracy and attention to detail are key for professionals in this role.
Carry out all accounting work, in compliance with the firm's and statutory procedures. Prepare accounts, including consolidated accounts, from both manual and computerised accounting records.
Payroll administrators are responsible for processing peoples wages. In this job, you'd create, store and maintain employee payroll records which details things like their attendance or timesheets, as well as the hours they work and the pay grade they're on.
Accounts Payable Clerks are responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payables. They also track purchase orders and process payments that come into the company's accounting department from suppliers or customers.
This is a varied role, responsible for the processing and administrative support to the finance and billing function. Ensure invoices are raised and securely distributed to customers.
