Positive Culture
A positive school culture is inclusive of SEL skills which are taught by all staff systematically according to an evidence-based scope and sequence and/or a research based process. Teaching is monitored for fidelity and the staff are striving to meet the Social Emotional and Character Development (SECD) academic standards and state board goals.

School climate is based on patterns of students’, parents’ and school personnel’s experience of school life and reflects norms, goals, values, interpersonal relationships, teaching and learning practices, and organizational structures.
