This Month we are looking at the Weather.
What makes our weather happen, how the seasons work and how to predict our weather.
The Seasons. What makes the seasons work, and how do they happen. Can you describe what happens to make the seasons? It is hard but you can do it.
Look at some of the Weather apps that show weather happening. Can you see ways in which our weather happens and can be predicted?
Colour it and make it real.
Lets look at our local and area History, What do you know about Kaniere and Hokitika and what can you learn.
It is good to look back in history and look at the old photos. What is better is if they are colour. Peter Jackson recently used technology to colour old film footage and turn it into a Documentary. We want to do the same. Find photos of historical Kaniere and Hokitika with a peer and colourize them.

What is energy ?
Energy is a word that we use every day, but what is it?
Want to see something funny? Ask a parent or adult to explain what Energy is.
Your first task is to answer the question, "What is energy?" You will do a google slide, then you will share your answer with a group, then as a group you will use your ability to 'create' to create a short video on "WHAT IS ENERGY?"
You will only have an hour or two so be quick.

Look at the Energy! poster below, on the same google slides that you did your first energy question, List down as many forms of energy in this slide as possible.
