Today we are looking at Flight.  What makes a plane fly? Some don't even have protellors. 

• What is safer a helicopter or an Aeroplane?

• What is a force and what forces do planes need in order to fly.

• Can we make something fly better than our standard paper dart?

• Longest Throw - Study the science.    

To be able to have a go at making a paper craft that travells further than any other in class, you will have to pass your section licence. 

Section 1:  The Principles of Flight.   Be able to describe the principles of flight by answering these questions.

1. What is a force?

2. What four forces does an object need in order to fly?

3. Explain a little about the history of flight.  Were the Wright Brothers really the first to fly?

4. You will need to create and share a Screen cast of the questions above between two of you.

You will not be able to move to Section 2 until you have completed this section to a good standard.

Do not rush it or you may find yourself doing  it again.  Share your video to the Time Managment sheet.
