Animal prints!
Look around, there are patterns all around us. We may use patterns discover new things and gain a greater understanding of the world around us. Playing with patterns is, above all, very enjoyable. Nursery learners were exposed to different animal patterns and prints. The developed the knowledge that different animals have different skin textures and patterns. They were amazed to see it and tried to print the patterns on different color patterns!
Knowing about the animal skin was fun!

FLOWER POUNDING
Flower pounding is the art of transferring the natural pigment of flowers and plants onto cloth through the act of physically hammering the two mediums together. This is a STREAM activity that makes an impression of leaves and flowers on cloth. Nursery Learners were encouraged to experiment with the activity and explore the actions involved. This is a simple nature-based craft that utilizes flowers to create organic designs that reflect and preserve the beauty of colorful blooms. You can play around with utilizing old flowers from a bouquet before composting or foraging in your garden to gather a variety of different shapes, sizes, and colored flowers to use. This is a great activity for little learners to practice their fine motor skills.

Exploring the Tens frame!
A ten frame is a simple tool for teaching Maths. It helps children to develop number sense and early Numeracy skills. Learners of Nursery enhanced their counting skills using the tens frame. They counted the number of letters in their name and pasted the dots accordingly. This activity helped the learners to understand that counting can be done in various ways using different materials.Â
