Zero Waste Week
Zero waste is the conservation of resources and materials through responsible production and consumption. Eliminating waste is the goal. Zero waste is not an overnight success. It's a process. Big change begins with small steps and contributions from everyone, that can include our young learners too. Eco-Friendly practices were been to our young learners how to contribute to maintaining healthy earth.
Learners explored zero waste and recycling activities for a cleaner and greener environment. They also explored the concept of 'Reduce, and Reuse'. Learners learned that reducing consumption and reusing rather than buying new products can be even more environmentally friendly than recycling.
Our young learners were encouraged to create Zero waste and segregation of waste for waste management.
