Element I: TESTING AND DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS

***N/A

Objectives:

  • Documentation of project evaluation by multiple, demonstrably qualified stakeholders and field experts is presented and is synthesized in a consistently specific, detailed, and thorough way.

  • Documentation is sufficient in two or more categories to yield meaningful analysis of that evaluation data.

  • The synthesis of evaluations consistently addresses evaluators’ specific questions, concerns, and opinions related to design requirements.

Reflective Questions:

  • What do end-users and experts directly related to this project and problem statement think of the testing results and my/our conclusions about the effectiveness of this idea?

Include the following information for each test:

  • Purpose – summarize what information you are trying to gain from this test.

  • Overview of Procedure- you don't need to state step by step what you did (thats already in element H) just a brief synopsis. You can include pictures here to make more impactful.

  • Pass Criteria- restate the requirements your product will need in order "pass" this test

  • Test Data: Include your completed data tables and charts

  • Analysis- Explain the results of your test. Discuss the quality of the test data. Why do you believe it is accurate and repeatable? Did the limitations of the test affect the results? What implications does the data have on the product design?
