  1. 12-volt waterproof battery - to power motor

  2. 10-watt solar panel - to charge battery indefinitely and sustainably

  3. Natural rubber - to make a low-density mold of the body of the product and propellers

  4. Rigid sculpting foam - used to create casting for rubber mold

  5. 12-volt gear motor - to turn the propeller and move the product

  6. Aluminum propeller - to push the product through water

  7. Plastic sheeting - to provide a barrier during casting mold

  8. Remote control and receiver - to control propeller


Equipment

List of Tools and Equipment

  1. Pallet knives - to smear and apply rubber for casting

  2. Measuring tape - to determine appropriate measurements, must be at least 10ft

  3. Protractor - to determine the appropriate angle for outer side panels of the body

  4. Masking tape - to ensure foam mold stays in place during casting

  5. Epoxy resin - industrial adhesive to combine parts together

  6. Saw - to cut large portions of foam block and rubber molding

  7. X-acto-knife - to cut smaller portions of foam for precision and detail

  8. Air heater - to cure adhesive and melt rubber

  9. Soldering iron - soldering wires into place

  10. Gloves - to prevent adhesives and rubber from contact with skin
